How to use
Elderly, Adults and children over 12 years: Take ONE to TWO 5ml spoonfuls every 4 hours, as required. Do not take more than 4 doses in any 24 hours.
Caution
Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep all medicines away from children.
Using the dose recommended, pholcodine linctus is not considered to be hazardous, however, the use of pholcodine may cause sedation, dizziness, and nausea.
If affected, driving or operation of machinery would not be advised.
Ingredient
Active ingredient: Each 5ml spoonful contains the active ingredient: Pholcodine BP 5mg.
Other ingredients: ethanol (96%), citric acid monohydrate, purified water, sodium benzoate, amaranth (E123), quinoline yellow (E104), yellow dye sunset (E110), sucrose.
Side Effects
