Abilar® 10% Resin Salve helps to form an optimal environment for wound healing
Abilar® 10% Resin Salve forms a physical barrier against bacteria and yeasts typically causing skin infections
The treatment time varies from days to months depending on wound type, size and etiology
Abilar maintains a moist wound environment to improve wound healing. Apply Abilar® sparingly (1-2mm thick) with the exception of cavity wounds (e.g. bites) or to remove scabs.
On festering (wet) wounds only apply thin layer to the wound surface to avoid maceration of the surrounding skin.
Abilar® can be covered by a secondary dressing if required. Repeat at each dressing change.
