How does bite away bite relief pen work?
Insect bites & stings often cause itching, pain, and swelling with the traditional method of treatment being through chemical-based creams, ointments, and oral medicines, which typically bring only short-term relief.
bite away is a patented medical device, which works solely through the principle of local hyperthermia ( BITE AWAY INSECT HEAT TREATMENT DEVICE ) and is therefore completely free from chemicals. Local hyperthermia = concentrated heat therapy ( bug bite heat pen ). A temperature of approximately 51°C is applied to a small, limited area of skin for a short period of time. This heat transfer process has been clinically proven to provide rapid and effective relief.

How to use bite away
bite away is user friendly. Place the device onto the affected area and gently press it on to the skin. Once you click on the button, the ceramic contact surface heats up to approx. 51°C. This temperature is maintained for three seconds (initial treatment), or five seconds (regular use) and the device turns off.
Please leave a treatment interval of at least 2 minutes between each application. Do not exceed a maximum number of 5 applications per hour on the same affected area. If treating children under 12 years of age, the device should be used only with the assistance of an adult.
