Clexane Injection PFS – Enoxaparin Injection, Pack of 10

Clexane Injection is a low molecular weight heparin used to reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis in certain conditions. It is administered through an injection. It has proven to be effective in preventing the occurrence or recurrence of deep vein thrombosis in adults who have recently undergone hip or knee replacement surgery.

This medicine comes as a sterile solution in pre-filled syringes that can be conveniently stored and used on demand at home, minimising the need to visit a healthcare professional for administration. It also comes with detailed instruction leaflets that are easy to follow so you can easily claim your treatment at home. Your healthcare professional will also be able to explain how and when you should use this medication.

Clexane Injection is a safe and highly effective anticoagulant that helps reduce the risk of developing potentially life-threatening blood clots in adults who have undergone joint replacement surgery. With regular monitoring and adjustment of dosage levels, Clexane successfully reduces the chance of venous thromboembolism by helping maintain effective circulation while avoiding potential complications.

What Clexane Syringes are used for

Clexane Injection can be used to:

  • Treat blood clots that are in your blood

  • Stop blood clots from forming when you have unstable angina (where not enough blood gets to your heart) or after a heart attack
  • Stop blood clots from forming in the tubes of your dialysis machine (used for people with severe kidney problems).
  • Prevent clots from forming in the placenta in pregnant women

Enoxaparin Injection can be used in the treatment of certain conditions in cats, dogs and horses.

How Clexane Syringes work:

Clexane Syringes work in two ways:
