How will Doublebase Gel help your skin condition?
This product is highly effective at keeping your skin moisturized and soft. It helps to prevent the drying effects that can come from washing or bathing, as well as soaps with fragrances in them because it contains ingredients like liquid paraffin (emollients).
The active agents are isopropyl myristate and liquid paraffin which helps keep moisture deep within your epidermis; this prevents irritants caused by these external factors made worse by harsh cleansers such its foaming properties when used on topically moist surfaces.
What type of skin condition does Doublebase Gel help?
Eczema
Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis is a chronic and sometimes remitting condition that primarily affects the skins surface layers. People who suffer from this type of skin inflammation will often experience symptoms such as an itchy red rash which can be found in many places on their bodies including behind knees or elbows where there are large amounts humidity for extended periods each day.

Doublebase Gel is available to buy over the counter. You do not need a prescription to buy Doublebase Gel but you might be asked some questions about your medical health when you add it to your basket.
Doublebase gel should be applied directly to dry affected areas of the skin on a regular basis and as often as required.
It can also be used before, during and after showering or having a bath as this helps to stop further drying of the skin. After showering the skin, Doublebase Gel should be patted dry using a soft towel before applying Doublebase gel as a moisturiser.
Ingredients
Ingredients of Doublebase Gel
Isopropyl myristate (15% w/w) and liquid paraffin (15% w/w), glycerol, carbomer, sorbitan laurate, triethanolamine, phenoxyethanol, and purified water.

Doublebase gel should not be used in
Allergy to any ingredient.
Skin irritation in people hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
Doublebasse Gel should not be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
Warning
There are no known harmful effects when this medicine is used by pregnant or breastfeeding mothers. Doublebase Gel can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Doublebase Gel contains Liquid Paraffin which is highly flammable, keep away from open or gas fires or hobs and naked flames, including candles etc. and not to smoke when using these paraffin containing preparations.
This preparation is for external use on the skin only.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
When using this product in the bath or shower take care to avoid slipping, especially when getting in or out, as the gel may make the bath/shower more slippery than usual.
Do not use Doublebase Gel after the expiry date shown on the container. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not store above 25°C.
Do not freeze the product.
If using a tube, replace cap after use.
Occasionally, in the 500 g and 1 kg bottles a small pocket of air may form around the bottom end of the pump’s dip tube, making it harder to pump the gel out. This may be resolved by tapping the base of the bottle firmly on a hard surface two or three times, so the gel can settle at the bottom around the end of the dip tube. The pump should then be pumped SLOWLY.
