What is Head Lice?
Head lice are very common in young children, and their families. The pesky insects don’t have anything to do with dirty hair; they’re picked up through head-to-head contact!
Lice live close to the scalp where they feed on blood and this can cause the scalp to itch.
The female louse will lay between 3 and 5 eggs per day and these hatch after 7 days. This is why it is important to repeat this treatment after 7 days to ensure that any lice which have hatched after the first treatment are killed.
• Once the louse has hatched, the empty case (known as a nit) will remain glued to the hair shaft. Nits are completely harmless and can be removed with the fingers or a fine-toothed comb

How To Use
How To Use Hedrin Once Liquid Gel
Shake bottle well before use.
Apply sufficient gel evenly over dry hair, to ensure that the scalp and hair are fully covered and the hair is saturated.
Work into the hair with the fingers or an ordinary comb spreading the gel thoroughly and evenly from the roots to tips.
Leave on the hair for at least 15 minutes (or longer if more convenient).
Apply shampoo directly to the entire surface of the hair without first wetting it, shampoo thoroughly then rinse with water. Repeat the process, then apply conditioner, rinse and dry. Hedrin once liquid gel contains anti-foaming ingredients so the shampoo will not lather readily.
If necessary, repeat the whole procedure remembering to apply shampoo directly to dry hair.

Hedrin® Once Liquid Gel is slippery. Baths, shower cubicles, etc., may become slippery when using or washing the hair. Take care. Wash any residues away with detergent and warm water.
Formulated with non-volatile ingredients, however, observe normal safety precautions and always keep hair away from naked flames.
Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients.
If a skin rash or other signs of allergy occur, stop use. Wash skin with soap and water and seek medical advice.
Do not apply to broken skin.
Do not use on children under 6 months.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
If accidentally introduced into the eyes, flush with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.
If accidentally swallowed consult a doctor as soon as possible. Take the pack with you to show which product you have swallowed.
Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
