How does Inadine Dressing work?

INADINE, a new antimicrobial agent developed by the Povidone Iodine molecule has been proven to be effective against MRSA. The broad spectrum action of this product reduces risk for infection at dressing removal and in clinical practice shows reduced pain levels among patients when used as directed with no adverse reactions or side effects reported so far!

As PVP–I is released from INADINE the dressing will change colour from orange to white. The colour change provides an indicator of how frequently dressings should be changed preventing unnecessary dressing changes, when compared to other dressings. This could improve cost effectiveness in treatment.
