How To Use
How to use Nurofen Joint Pain Soft Capsules
Take with water. Adults and children from 12 years: Take 1 or 2 capsules with water, up to 3 times a day as required. Leave at least 4 hours between doses (maximum 6 tablets in 24 hours). Do not give Nurofen Pain Relief Soft Capsules to children under 12 years. Nurofen for Children products are available for children from 3 months (and weighing over 5 kg) to 12 years For detailed dosing instructions please refer to the product leaflet.

Warnings
Do Not Take if You:
• Are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients or to aspirin or other painkillers
• Have (or have had two or more episodes of) a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding
• Have had a worsening of asthma, skin rash, itchy runny nose or facial swelling when previously taking ibuprofen, aspirin or other similar medicines
• Have had gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation when previously taking NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)
• are taking other NSAID painkillers or more than 75mg aspirin a day
• If you are on a low dose aspirin (up to 75mg daily) speak to your doctor or pharmacist before you take this medicine
•Have severe liver or kidney problems
• Have heart problems, high blood pressure or blood coagulation disorder
• Have breathing diffculties
• Are in the the last 3 months of pregnancy.
• Are under 12 years old

Side Effects
Nurofen Pain Relief Side Effects
Like all medicines, Nurofen Pain Relief 200mg Soft Capsules can
cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
If you suffer from any of the following, at any time, during your
treatment STOP TAKING the medicine and seek immediate
medical help:
• pass blood in your faeces (stools/motions)
• pass black tarry stools
• vomit any blood or dark particles that look like coffee grounds
• difficulty in breathing, unexplained wheezing, worsening of
existing asthma
• other allergic-type reactions (e.g. swelling of the face or throat,
low blood pressure, fast heart rate)
• a severe skin reaction known as DRESS syndrome can occur.
Symptoms of DRESS include: skin rash, fever, swelling of lymph
nodes and an increase of eosinophils (a type of white blood cells).
STOP TAKING the medicine and tell your doctor if you experience
any of the following side effects, or anything unusual happens:
• indigestion or heartburn
• abdominal pain (pains in your stomach) or other abnormal
stomach symptoms.
• a skin rash (which may be severe, such as Stevens-Johnson
syndrome), itchy skin or blisters
Medicines such as Nurofen Pain Relief 200mg Soft Capsules may be
associated with a small increased risk of heart attack (myocardial
infarction) or stroke.
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you experience any of the
following side effects, they become worse or if you notice any
other effects not listed.
• oedema (fluid retention), high blood pressure (hypertension) and
heart failure
• headache
• nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, vomiting and flatulence (wind)
• skin peeling
• kidney and liver disorders
• blood disorders. The first signs can be fever, sore throat, mouth
ulcers, ‘flu-like symptoms, severe exhaustion, unexplained
bleeding and bruising.
• meningitis symptoms such as fever and chills, severe headache,
nausea, vomiting and stiff neck (in patients with existing
auto-immune disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus).
• worsening of colitis or Crohn’s disease (inflammation of the
bowel).
If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects
not listed in this leaflet please tell your doctor or pharmacist

Migraleve Pink Tablets (Paracetamol and Codeine and Buclizine) For the relief of mild to moderate pain such as period pain, headache, migraine, toothache, muscular and rheumatic pain, backache (lumbago) strains, sprains and sciatica in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. Migraleve Yellow Tablets (Paracetamol and Codeine) For the relief of mild to moderate pain such as period pain, headache, migraine, toothache, muscular and rheumatic pain, backache (lumbago) strains, sprains and sciatica in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. (Three Days Maximum)
MIGRALEVE® Yellow tablets contain paracetamol and codeine for the treatment of pain and relief of continuing migraine symptoms. They should always be taken after the first dose of MIGRALEVE® Pink tablets.
Codeine can be used in children over 12 years of age for the short-term relief of moderate pain that is not relieved by other painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen alone.
This product contains codeine. Codeine belongs to a group of medicines called opioid analgesics which act to relieve pain. It can be used on its own or in combination with other pain killers such as paracetamol.

What Solpadeine Plus is used for
Solpadeine Plus Capsules can be used in patients over 12 years of age for the short-term relief of moderate pain that is not relieved by other painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen alone. They can be used for a migraine, headache, dental pain, period pain, strains & sprains, backache, rheumatic pain, and sciatica. The tablets contain three active ingredients; paracetamol, codeine , and caffeine. Codeine and paracetamol are both painkillers. Codeine belongs to a group of medicines called opioid analgesics which act to relieve pain. It can be used on its own or in combination with other painkillers. Caffeine acts to further help the effectiveness of paracetamol.
For the relief of mild to moderate pain such as period pain, headache, migraine, toothache, muscular and rheumatic pain, backache (lumbago) strains, sprains and sciatica in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. (Three Days Maximum)
Do not take Solpadeine Plus Capsules:
• If you have ever had an allergic reaction to paracetamol, caffeine, codeine, other opioid painkillers or to any of the other ingredients
• If you are taking other medicines containing paracetamol or codeine • If you are under 12 years: • For pain relief in children and adolescents (0-18 years of age) after removal of their tonsils or adenoids due to obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome • If you know that you metabolise very rapidly codeine into morphine • If you are breastfeeding . Ask your doctor before you take this medicine: • If you have liver or kidney disease, including alcoholic liver disease • If you have bowel problems including blockage of your bowel • If you have had an operation to remove your gallbladder
Do you take other medicines
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking these tablets if you are taking any prescribed medicines; particularly metoclopramide or domperidone (for nausea [feeling sick] and vomiting [being sick]); cholestyramine (to lower blood cholesterol); monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) prescribed for depression in the last 2 weeks, or substances that make you drowsy (e.g. sedatives, antidepressants or alcohol). If you take blood-thinning drugs (anticoagulants e.g. warfarin) and you need to take a pain reliever on a daily basis, talk to your doctor because of the risk of bleeding. But you can still take occasional doses of Solpadeine Plus Capsules at the same time as anticoagulants
How to take Solpadeine Plus Capsules
Adults: Swallow 2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours . Children aged 16 – 18 years: Swallow 1-2 tablets every 6 hours as needed. Do not take more frequently than every 6 hours. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours . Children aged 12 – 15 years: Swallow 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed. Do not take more frequently than every 6 hours. Do not take more than 4 tablets in 24 hours . • Do not take more than the recommended dose . • Avoid too much caffeine in drinks like coffee and tea. High caffeine intake can cause difficulty sleeping, shaking and an uncomfortable feeling in the chest . • Solpadeine Plus Capsules should not be taken by children below the age of 12 years, due to the risk of severe breathing problems • This medicine should not be taken for more than 3 days. If the pain does not improve after 3 days, talk to your doctor for advice
