Rapilose Fast Acting Glucose Gel is an easy-to-use pleasant flavoured 40% dextrose gel for people who require glucose, typically with the onset of low blood sugar. It is designed to rapidly boost your blood sugar levels.
Rapilose Gel is available in a triple pack of 25g easy to use tubes, with each tube containing a measure of 10g of carbohydrate.
Each tube provides 10gm (40%w/w) of glucose.

Rapilose Gel is very easy to use. Simply twist off the cap, squeeze the gel into your mouth and swallow. Alternatively, Rapilose Gel can be squeezed inside the cheek, and the outside of the cheek gently rubbed to aid absorption. Each tube can be resealed using the stopper.
Rapilose Gel must never be given to an individual who has become unconscious due to the risk of choking.
Adults (including the elderly): One 25g tube to be consumed as required in order to assist in regulating the body’s blood sugar levels
Children: not recommended for children under the age of two
Rapilose Gel, with a viscosity of approximately 2400-2700cP, can be administered via enteral feeding tubes, if required.
