Sotalol Tablets, 28 Tablets

Sotalol Tablets are used to treat and prevent abnormally fast heart rates (arrhythmias). The active ingredient in the medicine is sotalol hydrochloride, an anti-arrhythmic medication that works by blocking certain electrical signals in the heart that can cause an irregular heartbeat. It can be used in adults and children over 6 years. It is important to follow the doctor’s instructions when taking this medication, as incorrect dosage can cause serious side effects. Possible side effects include dizziness, tiredness, nausea, diarrhea and difficulty breathing. If you experience any of these symptoms while taking Sotalol Tablets, contact your doctor.

Sotalol belongs to a group of drugs called beta-adrenergic blocking agents or “beta-blockers”.
